Blackstrap Provincial Park – December 20-21, 2025 and January 17-18, 2026

Dogsledding

This experience includes a 30 minute sled dog adventure by Campbell’s Racing Sled Dog Tours.

Your Sled Dog Experience will begin by learning about the dogs and then enjoying a 15-minute sled dog ride through the trails at Blackstrap Provincial Park followed by rewarding the dogs with cuddles!

We are happy to accommodate two adults per sled per time slot. We are able to accommodate one child (under 10 years of age) per sled per time slot!

Trail length: 2 kms

Trail time: 15-20 minutes

Sauna

Following your sled dog adventure, you’ll unwind and warm up in the wood-burning barrel sauna for a 1-hour session. This sauna session will be shared with a few other guests as they make their way from their Sled Dog Experience.

We recommend that you cycle through Hot-Cold-Rest-Repeat and you’ll have a chance to cool down by rolling in the snow!

Sled Dog & Sauna

$195 CAD + tax/person (Ages 6 years and older) (minimum 2 people per sled)

$110 CAD + tax/child (minimum 2 people per sled) Child is under 6 years old

Sled Dog Only

$125 CAD + tax/person (Ages 6 years and older) (minimum 2 people per sled)

$75 CAD + tax/child (minimum 2 people per sled) Child is under 6 years old

Limited to two people per sled (per time slot).

Weight limit for the two people is 380 pounds per sled. If you are over this weight limit, please contact us for special pricing.

This experience includes:

– 30 minutes interaction with the Alaskan huskies, including a 15-20 minute sled dog ride

– 1 hour sauna in the wood-burning barrel sauna

This experience is low to moderate impact and we encourage you to listen to your body.

All equipment you will need to feel comfortable adventuring with us is provided!

Included:

– Guided Sled Dog Experience

– Shared Sauna Experience

– Rental luxury outdoor robe and blankets to keep you warm during sauna

– Chairs for relaxing in between sauna sessions

– Lemon water

Participants must provide:

– Clothing layers to keep you warm (base layer, fleece sweater, winter jacket and pants, toque, mitts, neck warmer)

– Bathing suit or light clothing to wear in the sauna

– Winter boots

– Water bottle

– Towels (2)

– Transportation to experience location

Kyla

SAUNA HOST

Guide and owner of Back2Nature Wellness & Adventures, Kyla as been guiding guests on outdoor wellness adventures for the past four year. She used to work as a wildlife biologist and worked extensively conducting field surveys. She is certified as a Field Leader by the Outdoor Council of Canada and holds certifications in various healing modalities.

Kyla is passionate about facilitating a connection to self through nature and the wonders of the outdoors. She loves witnessing the transformation that guests experience as they cycle through the Nordic Cycle of Hot-Cold-Rest-Repeat in the Sauna!

Aaron Campbell

SLED DOG GUIDE

Guide and owner of Campbell’s Racing Sled Dog Tours, Aaron Campbell, has been mushing for 26 years. He has participated in races from Alaska to Minnesota and everywhere in between with possibly the most unique location, racing on the frozen Beaufort Sea in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT.

Let our race winning dog team take you down the trail. You will feel the power of the team and their passion for running as the quick release is pulled. You will hear the sounds of the runners sliding on the snow and the dogs exhaling. Take in the beautiful winter scenery, sit back and enjoy the ride!
