Breeding, Mushing & Tours
Owners Aaron and Charlene Campbell, along with their three children – Avery, Eldon and Harris, who are second-generation mushers—operate Campbell’s Racing Sled Dogs. With Charlene’s support, Aaron has pursued his passion for breeding and racing Alaskan Husky sled dogs at a world-class level. He regularly competes at The Pas World Championship and loves racing against the best teams in the world.
With 30 years of experience, including seven years working and racing for three different World Champion kennels, Aaron has developed a keen eye for recognizing talented sled dogs. He has extensively researched the bloodlines in the sport, learning what common trends lead to a championship team. He shares this passion with his children and values the time spent with them breeding and racing their sled dogs.
Campbell’s Racing Sled Dogs was inspired by their devoted sled dogs and aimed to share this unique experience with others. In doing this, they created Campbell’s Racing Sled Dog Tours. This allows them to share the raw beauty of dog sledding with guests—both on their trails through the deciduous boreal forest and by bringing their dogs to your location, whether it be a school, winter festival, or local provincial park.
